So I have two sets of wolves to adopt from. Ketséah's family and those who (can) be related to her. Essential to the rise (or fall) of her pack. Names and apperances can change if you'd like to customise I am open to it so long as they fit with said family traits/personality! This is just a guideline of how i'd like them to be.

salvatoré
regal • proud • loyal • stubborn •

Traits: Salvatoré's are known for their monochrome colours. Often greys, whites and blacks are seen as a common pelt. It is rare for a Salvatoré to have any other but rare pelts have consisted of cream. Their eyes are a less varied option; shades of light and dark blue, orange ranging to gold and finally silver.

Personalities: Though each to their own. Generally, Salvatoré's are very prideful. Knowledgeable. Dependable and loyal. With their interests always being for family and honor. Duty to serve often plays with the chaos they surround themselves in. Although they may have disagreements, fights with long-term effects, sooner or later they will return. It is in their nature to preserve their name. Often exelling at being exellent diplomats, their founding member Sven founded a pack that lasted generations. They are used to living the high life. However it has also been known for Salvatoré's to be Mesomorph's; skilled hunters. Rare are ectomorphs and usually they are frowned upon. Endomorphs are common.

Misch; I would like all members of the Salvatoré family to join Kets in making/in her pack. They are also opposed to mutations, seeing them as impure. Even going as far to say freaks of nature. It is up to you how badly they seem towards mutated canines.

So who can you adopt?:

damitrii-salvatoré
2 years • brother to ketséah • endomorph •

Unique to this character:

Damitrii is the second born and first born son of Sven (their father). Damitrii was known for his spit-fire temper, which, paired with his arrogance and mindset of "rightful heir" made him unfit to lead. So Sven chose Ketséah as his sucessor. Since then, Ketséah's and Damitrii's once close relationship is strained. Damitrii would often do anything to give his sister a hard time. In a pack situation, he could see the error's of his ways and become Kets' second. Or still have that usurping nature and cause a real problem. Up to you! Damitrii must have a black/dark grey pelt with blue eyes! Hints of white or grey are optional.

rhyanna-salvatoré
2 years • sister to ketséah • mesomorph •

Unique to this character:

Rhyanna was the softer-natured pup of the litter. Softly spoken and picked on for being too "nice." Rhyanna is not just a tender flower, she is known to have a bite if it comes to the defense of those she loves. She adores Ketséah; sees her as the mother figure they never had. Not only that, Rhyanna has a sensible head upon her shoulders. She is wise and often is the voice of reason to her siblings actions. In a pack situation Rhyanna will be Ketséah's advisor yet she does not like the close-minded attitude she has taken on hating against the "mutants". Again, personality is up to change/customize! Her pelt must be light/dark grey/white with orange/gold/light blue eyes!

renier-lauris-
salvatoré
2 years • ex-mate of ketséah • endomorph/mesomorph •

Unique to this character:

Renier's marrage to Ketséah was short. Arranged by their family to unite two dwindling packs in a crisis. Renier loved himself. His abilities as an Alpha and a father created a huge ego. Ketséah despised him, yet found common ground by their sarcastic banter. In a pack situation, Renier coming back to Ketséah would cause her a lot of stress. Depending on how they play out together they could re-unite that spark that they first had when they met. I'm open to any other plot ideas you can throw at me! Renier must have green eyes (with hints of silver if you choose), with an earth-shaded pelt. I.e; russet/red/brown/black. Design of this is up to you!

Claimed by: RASTA. Smile

? salvatoré
3 or 1 years • lost brother/sister to ketséah • endomorph/mesomorph/ectomorph •

Unique to this character:

Create your own Salvatoré! Keep in mind their typical family traits. This Salvatoré was rarely spoken of and will have a tough time being accepted into the fold, however in time they could be more dependable than Ketséah's litter mates. The design is entierly up to you!

renier Lauris
hetero • chaotic good

Appearance • Renier was the first born of a litter, making him the largest, but even he is still just a mesomorph and considered somewhat small compared to his father. Built more like his mother, his muscle is as lean as he is lithe. Excercising regularly as part of his training as heir has made him a strong, formidible man, yet he is still somewhat thin, especially given his time away from his beloved home. Scars riddle his body, but are hidden away behind a plush coat of earthen hues.

Primarily, his coat sepia in color, a few tones off of the familiar dirt he often smells of. It keeps his back cool in the warmer summer months while his secondary and only other color is a sooty black. It's mainly his underside, starting with his face it's almost his entire muzzle save for a smudge of brown coming down between two green eyes with a silver lining. The black never reaches higher than his eyes before smearing across his cheeks and cascading down his neck and throat to his chest and stomach. Seperately, however, the shells of his ears match in black while the insides remain brown and two black spots accentuate each eye in the form of brows. Continueing on, the black from his stomach finds his tail and claims it entirely for itself. Each leg also has it's own black stocking, reaching up higher in the back to meet up with the black of the tail for the back legs and the stomach for the front legs.

Personality • It was a dark time after the marriage to Ketséah ended. For a time, Renier was considered aggressive and difficult to handle. He was forced to stay inside, away from the eyes of the kingdom until he could better control himself, which hardly came soon enough. After a violent end to a second engagement, Renier was exiled from the kingdom, which he almost couldn't be happier about.

Prior to his first marriage ending, Renier was arrogant and conceited and really thought only of himself. Now that Renier is a free man with no title, he seeks to change himself. Although he can never change his past or the memories than dance around in his head, haunting him, he hopes to change Ketséahs opinion and find her love for him, or make it. Being almost a year since their marriage ended, a lot of things changed, but one can't really say for the good just yet. While he's been on the hunt for her for nearly six months, he's had time to fix himself, but little knowledge of if he's doing good or not. He tries to think only of himself less, tries to clean himself less, and tries to take things that aren't his less, but there's only so much he can work on at a time when he's travelling alone.

Still, Renier is quite arrogant. He was raised to be a King and that doesnt just disappear when you're exiled. Thankfully he's learning to keep his mouth shut, but things slip out under his breath at times and he forgets or doesn't realize he even said it out loud. At least he can't introduce himself as Prince Renier anymore, so it helps a little. He does, however, still fancy himself quite the skilled hunter and fighter. That hasn't stopped, but he's also still trying to brag less and let others talk more. Being a loner on the search has thankfully allowed him quick conversations with a few other loners and not any travelling companions to overly annoy, but that makes working on bis flaws difficult. He's terribly afraid that Ketséah's just going to scoff at him and tell him he hasn't changed when he finds her, but he can't give up. Even the fear of rejection isn't enough to turn him away, despite having nothing left if she rejects him.

Sample • prior to chrysalis - his breakoff with ex-fiance, Magdalena.

"-you will never be her." He spat at her, ending their fight with a snarl and backing off her body that she'd pressed into the tree sobbing. He felt nothing - no remorse, no guilt. "We're done."

He turned away calmly, walking away from her despite her tears. He'd waited too long for this, considering he never wanted to marry her anyway. Four months they'd been engaged, after only two months from losing Ketséah. Despite Ketséah doing the same thing to him six months ago and breaking him, he couldn't stand another second with Magdalena. He didn't care how he made her feel.

By the time he made it back to his den later that night, his father was there waiting for him. Renier stopped some paces away as the King rose and came towards him.

"Let's take a walk," The man started, stopping just before his son for a moment, a pleasant smile on his face.

Renier was uncertain, but nodded. His father came up to his side and Renier turned to walk with him, still on edge but trying to relax some. Something was off here, but he couldn't tell what.

They walked for what seemed like an hour in silence, until they were clear off the kingdoms grounds. Finally they stopped, his fathers throat clearing to break the silence. Renier turned, realizing he had continued on farther than his father, but only to realize he was being ambushed. Being attacked on all sides, Renier was forced down and held by sharp tooth and claw against the ground. He'd heard rumors of exiles, but never before been a part of one to know it was happening until now. He struggled until he knew what it meant - freedom. His body went slack under the weight of the others, but a voice came soon enough anyway. It was his fathers.

"Renier - your actions have caused you two failed marriages and your kingdom see's you unfit to rule. Your aggressive actions towards Princess Magdalena warrants your death- but as you are my son, I've convinced the nobels of her kingdom to settle for exile. Should you ever set a paw on either of our kingdoms again, the penalty is death."

Renier couldn't be happier. The tears rolling down his face could easily be mistaken, however the present smile couldn't. His restraits were loosened and he was granted his freedom moments later, but not without a few parting bites and grabs, just in case he thought about running back to where he came. As if.

History •
• He reclaimed his last name when they 'divorced' and briefly forced into taking another fiance, Magdalena.
• Upon ending engagement to Magdalena, Renier lost his title due to two failed engagements and his title got shifted to the next in line, his sister.
• Exiled from the Kingdom and now in search of Ketséah to beg for her forgiveness

Plots •
• He's desperate for her forgiveness, having not realized he did truly love her until she left him and he became aware of his flaws (yay breakup fights). Will probably follow her around like a sad puppy until she forgives him, js. Will also shower with love and affection and gifts bc he feels like so bad.

- OOC NAME: Sol

- CHARACTER: Damitrii (Demi) Salvatore

- PERSONALITY:
In a one-word-nutshell, one would describe Damitrii as Authoritative. It should go without saying that a child raised within the skirt-tail trail of royalty would either have a profound lust or a distain like hell’s fury for the life style. Damitrii was enamored with it. Everything about the aristocracy was flawless within his eye, from the organization to the expectations. He could see no wrong. There was a place for everyone and a duty for each. If laws were broken, consequences were abound. This would shape the young malleable prince into someone who struggled to see his own flaws, his own short-coming, and ultimately molded him into someone who would bring dishonor to his title.

If you walk like you have a purpose than clearly you must have one. Or so that’s what Damitrii thought. He moved with such grace and flow, his noes turned up right that it was a wonder the boy could ever see where he was going. He was a snub, but a handsome one. His good looks did not bold well for his growing arrogance. Hardly a word was ever even whispered his way, his behavior, how he lacked humility. Instead he was gifted with compliments about how proud he looked, how majestic he carried himself. It did not hurt that Damitrii developed a suave tongue. He spoke every word with a smooth grace, a slick tickle that sounded magical as it filtered into the eardrum. He had everyone fouled, expect for his father.

At a young age his father found flaw with Damitrii’s immaturity and his void of humility. Sven would name Damitrii’s sister the heir to the throne. Nothing brought forth his fiery demeanor more than this news. He grew bitter with his father and felt both jealously and anger towards his sister. Damitrii would grumble to himself about how unfair his father’s decision was and that Sven had never given Damitrii the time of day to teach him better. Instead of using his father’s decision to keep Damitrii nothing more than a prince, he turned it inward. This would craft an attitude that roared like an inferno. He would become quick to trigger and enrage. He at least would channel this into learning how to defend himself and all that he cared for. For as torn his heart felt, his love for his family, their unit, and prestige, never faltered.

Loyalty is as much at his core as his love for the monarchy. This would create a divide in his heart and soul. Damitrii and his sister’s relationship would become estranged. He felt at his core that he was the rightful heir, that he had the only means to carry on the family name and lineage. His sister was just a puppet that his father was using to punish him. He wanted so deeply to love her and to stand by her side, but he could not overcome his bitter jealously. For Ketseah was just as power-hungry as he, just as eager to take on the role of leader. A rivalry would blossom as the only method Damitrii had to cope with his struggle. He could love his sister for who she was, his sister, but he would hate her for what she would become, the de facto heir. He would become fiercely competitive, and this would not just stop with Ketseah. Even if he was not the greatest at something, he still had to try. He was determined to get better, to become better, and to show his father that he truly was the rightful heir.

Damitrii never would get the chance to redeem himself (even if the redemption was self-proclaimed. It is unsure if Sven felt Damitrii needed to redeem himself or if his decision to elect Ketseah to the title of heir was for more than one reason). A fire would engulf all that he knew, all that he loved, and whipped it clean. His father would crawl from the flames only to fall and never get back up. His life was turned upside down. The fractioning pack took to the winds, but Damitrii stayed. In the ashes he tried to regather his life. He could not pull himself away from his home, it was all he knew and he could not fathom the reality of it being burned away. The shock would eventually wear away and Damitrii was left to wander.

Solitude did the boy some good. It allowed him time to truly look in on himself. To see his flaws and his mistakes. It also allowed him to see the problems with his own pack. Their failure was always lurking around the corner. Their father’s act of adultery had caused the foundations to crumble. Ketseah was inheriting a sleeping volcano.

- Nutshell Personality Traits –
Confident – It is almost unshakeable. He can do anything he sets his mind out to do. He knows that he can’t do everything to perfection, but he can always work towards it. He is also confident enough to not care if you don’t like him. That’s your problem, not his.

Regal – The walk of grace will never leave him. He will always have a grace to him that steams royalty. Even if he was living in the slums of a muddied swamp, he would stroll through it with such unyielding pride.

Stubborn – Once his mind is set on something, it is hard to change it. It is best to always give a good first impression to him, or else you’ll always be whatever he first saw you as. Overtime, you can get him to see things differently, but you must be either a skilled tactician, or very persistent.

Jealous – He can’t stand for someone else to have what he wanted or what he feels like he should have. He can glow with envy if he is not careful.

Hot-headed – A temper follows him with a fairly short fuse. He is brash and abrasive and unforgiving about it. Get out of his way when he is on a rampage, it is said that he has a blind fury.

Competitive – He will always strive to be the best, and never backs down from a good fight, spar, or a bosting contest.

Organized – This is deeply seeded from his love for the strict system of a hierarchal society. It would morph into a need for everything to have a place.

Passionate – Whatever Damitrii decides to put his time and effort into, it will have all of his energy. Be that love, family, or duty.

Diplomatic/Tactical – He is very well spoke and very keen when it comes to matters of interpack relations. Damitrii has a strong sense of negotiation and foresight, which is ideal for large scale planning.

Honest/Realistic – He will tell you how it is. You can be assured that if Damitrii tells you something it is from the heart and mind. He is telling you how he sees it and you can take that as a grain of salt, or truly reflect.

Sarcastic – This can get him in trouble, but he is humorous with his sarcasm. It is a stress reliever for the man, and perhaps the only way he knows how to be funny.

Troubled – Ultimately, Damitrii is deeply troubled. He hides this well, but he is always torn. He is now able to look within and can see his flaws, but he is so stuck in his ways that he is struggling to overcome his old ways. He wants to be better, to do better, but he does not know how to achieve this. A mentor with a strong sense of morality and humility is greatly needed in the young man’s life.

- APPEARANCE:

Gunmetal. The man is dipped in the raw, unfinished coating that plasters the exterior of many guns. He is monochromatic, fading in and out of the darks and lights of space. His nape is a heavy black, void of color. This emptiness follows his spine to the last of his ribs before it gives way to a smoky undertone. If you continue following his vertebrae you will see a reversal, with the tip of his tail having been dipped in that black hole. The tip of his snout is as dark as a moonless sky, but it too fades as you move up his muzzle and to his cheeks. His cheeks are brushed with an ashen gray that is found nowhere else on his body. His legs follow the same drifting pattern from gunmetal to ink as his back and tail do. His paw pads are a rich warm onyx, except for one, a scar has tarnished his pristine fade, marring the left back paw. The outer two digits furless and ugly browned-pink.

Within that mask of noir sits two gemstones. They are akin to the eggs of a robin, with specks of cerulean surrounding the iris. Ringing the two orbs are a deep but vibrant ultramarine. The only color asides from the man’s warm champagne hued tongue. His eyes sit deeply behind a furrowed brow, peering out into the world with a cool exterior that gives little away to the viewer.

Well-formed and muscled. Damitrii has the body of a toned athlete, which is iconic of his lineage. His shoulders are board, legs firm and sturdy. His muzzle is square and smooth. He is stout and it is clear that in a situation which required great maneuverability he would be the underdog, but shear strength and stamina he has the win. His chest is barreled and deep, hind quarters stocky and solid in their stance. Like a solid foundation, Damitrii is built to last the storm.

- ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE:

The day was cold. The wind hissed through the trees, snaking the frigid air into the safety of the forest. The bitterness of the winter was upon the horizon. The shadows of Old Man Winter were already popping up in places. The trees were falling into their long slumber, their leaves shifting in a brilliant display from a rich, healthy green to the warm hues of fire. It was a spectacle to witness if anyone had the opportunity to just sit back and watch nature as it recycled itself. The life of the wolf was not one which could afford such luxury. With the coming winter desperation began to sink its teeth in further. The need for others was growing increasingly strong. Wolves struggled on their own, and Damitrii knew this. His desire to find others was burning brightly, even if it was at the back of his mind, the light was enough to guide his every move.

The wind whistled through the old log. It caused the wolf’s ears to perk and swivel around. Soon his head followed as he listened closely. The wind gave him no secrets about who might have been nigh, at least not verbally. If the wolf wished to know more he’d have to excavate himself from his den and taste the air. Just that he did. He stretched out his limbs and pulled himself from the Earth. Bright eyes beamed around the adjacent exterior, the early morning sun sprinkled in from the filter of leaves. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary so further the wolf moved. He continue to pull himself free of the den until he was fully from its grasp. He inhaled deeply as he stretched out his back, arching his body in a deep backwards bow.

Nothing. Emptiness is all he found. With a sigh and a shake of his pelt the wolf began to trudge forward. Though his steps were painful to take, as he only wanted to return to the den and continue to sleep this nightmare away, he had pride in his wake. He moved with such grace as he began his daily search. Today he would move to the West for half a day. If he found nothing by the time the sun was at its zenith then he would turn around and return to his den. He would need to find something to eat on the way back or if he did manage to find someone else, perhaps they too would enjoy sharing a meal. He set off with hope, but realistically he doubted his success. He was still too close to the ruins of his home.

- PLOTS: Well, I want this to go one of two ways and it depends on what you’re looking for. I either want Damitrii to struggle with accepting that he is second to his sister but ultimately learning humility, understanding, and being a good secondary leader and strong voice for her. Or, he secretly plots to overthrow her and claim his rightful place. He would overthrow her by pointing out her flaws to others until eventually they saw that she was unfit and instead that he was the better of the two to lead them. Whichever, I think they’d both be fun!

I think that Damitrii will dislike Renier for breaking his sister’s heart. He distrusts him as Damitrii believes that Renier is only trying to make things right to rule and that he will overthrow Ketseah. (Which would either derail his own plans or unravel what progress Damitrii and Ketseah make rebuilding their sibling kinship).

I think it would be interesting for Damitrii to insist that Ketseah never have offspring, since technically she cannot sire or pass on the name. It is just Renier being a push over changing his name. So he feels. Damitrii would be the sire and the one to ensure the passage of their lineage. I think it would also be fun if that was a small goal of them both, to just have as many children as possible to ensure their family is always there, the strongest, the biggest, the best.

Other stuff would come up depending on which way we take the Damitrii x Ketseah relationship.

I love your Demi application, Sol! I can see that you've put a lot of thought into him <3 He's yours! As for plots, I love the idea of Demi wanting to overthrow Kets. It would be nice to see him keeping her on her toes. But also him accepting his place as second is also a great idea. The relationship he'd have with Ren is also what I was hinting towards. Feel free to make him ASAP! Wink Sol
